1. Information Collection and Storage

• Local Storage First

  All content in Fragmemo is stored locally on your device. Your memos, reminders, and other data are by default stored on your device, and will not be uploaded to any server without your consent.

• Data Backup and Recovery

  • You can back up your data locally via the "Settings → Export Data" feature.
  • You can also import backed-up data into the App via the "Settings → Import Data" feature.

• iCloud Sync

  • To facilitate data synchronization and multi-device usage, Fragmemo supports iCloud synchronization.
  • When you enable iCloud sync, certain data will be synced to the cloud and automatically restored when installing the App on a new device.
  • Please note that iCloud sync is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review Apple’s related privacy statements.

2. App Permissions

To implement certain core features, Fragmemo may request the following permissions:

• Notification Permissions
  • This is used to implement reminder functionality.
  • Users may choose to enable or disable notification permissions in their system settings.
• Location Permissions
  • When you add a memo with a location type, the App will request access to your location information to record the latitude, longitude, and place name.
  • Users can choose to grant or deny this permission based on their preference.

3. Use of Information

• The memos, reminders, and other data you create in the App are used solely to enable App functionality and will not be used for other commercial purposes.
• All data processing is carried out on your device to ensure data security and privacy protection.

4. Information Sharing

• Third-Party Services
  • The App does not actively share your personal data with third parties.
  • iCloud sync services are provided by Apple Inc., and the handling of your data under iCloud sync is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
• Legal Requirements
  • We may be required to disclose certain data if mandated by law or requested by competent authorities.

5. Data Security

• We employ reasonable technical measures to protect your data.
• However, please note that no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your personal data.
